The new permanent exhibition on the first floor of the east wing of the Certosa di San Martino Museum in Naples officially opened to the public on December 22, 2025. The collection includes more than 200 works, including paintings, sculptures, and everyday objects, bringing to the public memories of 19th-century Naples, a century of great transformations for the city. Scuotto Allestimenti first restored the existing display cases, which had been abandoned for years, allowing the rooms to be redecorated with ceramics, coral, and glass. The new exhibition also included the construction of more than 50 linear meters of display walls for paintings, new mirrored display cases for the Biscuit porcelain, and painted iron structures to house numerous sculptures, including an entire room dedicated to the works of Vincenzo Gemito. Our company is delighted to accept this assignment, which contributes to restoring an important piece of history and priceless cultural heritage to our city. Below is a selection of significant photos from the opening day.
